Looking For Hope

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13



Hope. That is a good Christmas word. I see Christmas cards and decorations with these words from I Corinthians 13: faith, hope, and love. As Christians, we have a blessed hope and assurance in the promises of God. Those who have not trusted in the Lord as their Savior have no hope, as we see in (I Thessalonians 4:13) "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope." Sometimes it seems as though the whole world is against us, but don't lose hope. Let God give you hope. "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." (Romans 15:13)
